Q. How long will it take before I receive my order?
You should receive your order within 2-3 weeks. We try our best to ship your product as soon as possible, if you need your product sooner please send in your request and we'll ensure it reaches you in time.
Q. I'm a bit hesitant to order custom suit or shirt… How do I know it will fit me well or not?
Do not worry! You may place your first order by sending us your best fitting suit/shirt. If you can take your own measurements please follow the guidelines on our website to ensure precise and comprehensive information. Once we've received your order our master tailor will contact you to confirm your size and other specifics for perfect fit.
Q. Do you charge extra for 'large' size garments?
No, we have standard rates for a particular design irrespective of the size.
Q. Is Cashmere the most expensive cloth?
No, the most expensive cloth is Vicuna which comes from the fleece of small wild animals of the same name. The animal Vicuna roams the high slopes in central Andes mostly above 500 meters where the temperature drops below 0 degrees during the night. Vicuna is the finest sifted animal fiber in the world and the most expensive one.
Q. What is the meaning of fabric terms - super 100s? 120s? 150s?
In simple words, these numbers determine how much fabric span out from a given weight of woolen fiber. The higher the numbers are the better and finer the quality of fabric is. Also, as the numbers increase the fabric keeps getting more expensive as more fiber is required to produce them.
Q. Do I have to provide my measurements every time I place an order?
Not at all! Once we have your measurements on our record reorders will be easy. If you want a new design all you have to do is simply re-choose the style and fabric.
Q. Where will my clothes be made?
Every custom garment i.e., suit, shirt, jacket or a pair of slacks that we sell is cut and sewn in our factory in Bangkok, Thailand.
Q. What happens if my order needs any alterations?
Please contact us via phone or email describing the fitting problem with your garment in detail. Alternately, you can also send us a picture explaining the problem. We will do our best to assist you.
Q. Why should I buy my clothes from you and not other stores?
When you buy clothes from a retail outlet you are always buying off the rack compromising on either the fitting or design. However, at Best Tailor Shop everything is made to order. Our business aim is to design fully custom made clothes matching the style and fabric of your choice.

Q. What is your price range?
Price for suits start at around us$165 and go up to $495 depending on the quality of the fabric. Sport coats are two-third the price of a suit and slacks run about one-third the price of a suit.
Q. How much do you charge for shipping?
We provide FREE shipping on all custom suits. For sport coats shipping is FREE on all orders above us$89.
Q. Can I order with white collars and white cuffs?
Yes you can and that too at no extra charge.
Q. What is the difference between notch lapel, peak lapel & shawl lapel?
The notch has an indentation cut where the lapel meets the collar. The notch lapel is found on a standard business suit or tuxedo.
The peak is a broad V-shaped opening that points up and out below the collar.
The shawl is a smooth and rounded edge and is commonly found on tuxedo jackets.
Q. Do you make morning coats and/or dinner jackets?
Yes, we do. You can choose the cloth and styles.
Q. Can I order a garment with any other fabric which is not on your list?
Of course you can! If you have a specific fabric in mind that you cannot find on our list please feel free to contact us and give us the fabric description in detail, also attach a picture of it if possible. We will then try to find the perfect match for you (we can even send you a swatch).
Q. Do I need to worry about cloth shrinkage?
No, all our fabrics are pre-washed which reduces shrinkage to bare minimum. The cotton fabric may shrink up to 2-3% which we keep in mind while custom making your shirts.
Q. Is it possible that you copy the fit of my favorite suit/shirt?
Absolutely! Send us your suit/shirt with your order. Also, we will be glad to incorporate any changes you might want in your new garment. Once done we will return your favorite suit/shirt along with your new Best Tailor Shop suit/shirt.
Q. Would you share my private information with any third party?
No, we never will. We respect and value your privacy.
Q. How will you ship my order?
All your orders will be shipped through UPS, DHL or Thai post and will be insured.
Q. While ordering a bespoke suit from you for the first time will I get my own personalized pattern?
Absolutely! A precise card pattern is prepared based on your personal measurements and requirements which would play a vital role in the process of producing your bespoke suit. Once your suit is completed we then keep the pattern on file for future reference.
Q. Is there a minimum order requirement?
No, you can order as little or as much as you want!
Q. What are working/functional button holes?
This refers to the button holes constructed on the sleeve of a jacket so that the sleeve buttons & cuffs can be opened. Functional button holes on a sleeve are considered the mark of a finely tailored custom garment.
